Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use Bariza, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, account type and password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Professional profile information: headline, profession, specialty, experience, education, licences, registrations, certifications, skills, resume, location, employment preferences and availability status.
• Employer and company information: company name, type, size, locations, description, recruiting contact details and company assets such as a logo.
• Job postings and applications: role details, application records and application status.
• Messages exchanged between employers and professionals on the platform.
• Billing information processed by Stripe, including subscription status. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
• Technical and usage information such as log data needed to operate and secure the service.

• Operate accounts and provide platform features.
• Show professional profiles to employers according to profile and privacy settings.
• Show company profiles and job postings to professionals.
• Enable job applications and one-to-one messaging.
• Process Employer Pro subscriptions and enforce entitlements.
• Maintain safety, prevent abuse and respond to reports.
• Provide support and important service communications.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Published professional profiles are visible to employer accounts on the platform. Professionals control their availability status, whether employers may message them, whether their resume can be accessed, and whether specific companies are blocked. Unpublished profiles are not shown in employer search.

Company recruiting profiles and published job postings are visible to professional accounts. Internal-only employer details are not shown to professionals.

Messages are visible to the participants in a conversation. Platform administrators may review conversation content where necessary to investigate a report of abuse or a suspected policy breach.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, including our hosting and database provider, our authentication and storage provider, and Stripe for payment processing. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Employer Pro payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles card details directly and under its own privacy terms. Bariza receives subscription status and limited billing metadata.

Information is stored using managed cloud infrastructure with access controls, row-level database security and restricted private storage for sensitive files such as resumes. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

• Update or correct your profile information at any time.
• Unpublish a professional profile to remove it from employer search.
• Control availability status, messaging permissions and resume access.
• Block a company from viewing or contacting you.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and to operate core platform functionality.

Bariza is intended for working professionals and organizations. It is not directed to children.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date above.
